Joie Magazine

Screen+Shot+2013-11-26+at+11.35.27+AMHi all! I’m back from my mini hiatus and I wanted to tell you what I’ve been working on in the meantime. For the past two months, I have been concentrating my blog writing time on a new project… Joie Magazine! This is an online magazine that was started with one of my best friends from high school, and Boston photographer, Stephanie Rita, as well as a new friend (known through Stephanie) Sarah Elyse, who is a worship leader and wedding singer.

We met together back in the Autumn and brainstormed some ideas for the magazine. We felt that there was a market that was missing in the wedding publication industry. We aspired to create a wedding magazine that was structured on Christian morals and values, while also providing some great DIY projects and wedding advice.

So what exactly have I been doing for the past couple weeks you may ask? I’ve been visiting cupcake shops for a special feature in our first magazine issue, doing some Biblical research on the values of virtue, putting together styled shoots, attending some personal wedding shows for TarynAlyse Wedding & Events, and writing a lot of articles and blog posts for our Joie blog! However, things are starting to calm down a little bit, as our first issue will be released in the next couple of weeks and we will begin to start working on our winter issue.

Now, that all our hard work is almost complete with our first issue to be released, you can expect your usual biweekly blog posts from yours truly right here, on TarynAlyse Weddings & Events, and you can also check out more of my writings on Joie Blog!

We can’t wait to premier our first issue to our friends, family, and followers… but in the meantime visit our blog at and our Facebook page at
